Travelling without a rig

We have just arrived in Australia and are travelling without our own vehicle. We intend to get around using buses, plains, trains and lift sharing. Can anyone suggest useful web sites that we can explore for lift sharing apart from caravan tag along site which we have registered on.

Welcome to you both!
I'm also ex NZ. I note that you are in Sydney. Which direction to you intend/want to go? Just speaking for myself, I am travelling solo and certainly wouldn't mind some company on parts of my journey. I'm in a motorhome. I will be keeping in touch over this website and if you see me in your area and want to hitch a ride, just sing out.
Cheers,
Dianne
