Pet Feeding at Home While Away

Hello to all members from the newbies
We are planning on doing a trip through central NSW during March and April. Everything is organises EXCEPT that we have 2 house cats that obviously can't go with us. We have tried everywhere to get someone who would come into our home each day and feed them and make sure they are okay. We know about boarding kennels and vets who board but prefer not to use them.
Therefore we are looking for someone who lives in the Goolwa area in SA who could do this and get paid or someone who would like to come here for 6-8 weeks and have accommodation and look after the cats.
Be interested to hear anyones comments
Many thaks

Welcome to the forum, can't help out with advice on the pets, we don't have any.
We are almost neighbours, live at Pt Noarlunga.
Have a mate with 5 acres on Fiddoc rd were we spend a fair bit of time.

well howdy doody and I'd like to extend a big old welcome to you, I dont live in the area but if I did we would do it for you with bells on, long as you left a couple of beers in the fridge, I am sure that someone here lives close by and will help you out, I'd like to think that anyway!! if we can be of any assistance with anything else dont be shy, just give us a yell!!

Hi Gary
we have actually met and shared a bottle of red with you and your wife and another couple. We met at Mannum on the riverfront and the other couple were in a camper and lived somewhere in the hills
Nice to hear from you and enjoy your forthcoming trip

maybe an advert in your local paper would elicit someone prepared to help you out, sometimes these "pet Minders" advertise themselves......Your house is the best place for them, a Cattery may stress them if they are not used to it....
