Yippee ! Found the Squeek.

Found the squeek...
Went for a drive on Sunday morning.Left home 7.15 am,heavy rain, gale force wind, and drove to Melbourne..(forgot my passport).
Checked out a cheap squeek..was good, paid the man, he was happy, then checked the wheel bearings..Yikes !   Wobble Wobble..loose, one minus split pin, greased and adjusted.
After that 45 minute rest period was back in the saddle and drove back home to more rain and wind.
Got up this morning 7am..looked at odd angle of trailer in driveway..mmm..flat tyre.   Wondering if it is covered by warranty .LOL
So, a bit of TLC, new bearings etc: and I'll be in the saddle once again, totally self sufficient with creatrure comforts for quite a time on the road.

Now who's got the Itchy Feet ?

I hope you didn't pay much for it. I can't understand people actually selling something so undroadworthy, and asking money for it.
They should have paid you to get it off their hands.
Anyway, I hope it all works out the way you've planned, and we'll see you on the road some time soon. Cheers Chris

Dosen't it just feel sooooooo good when you solve a problem that has been bugging you?

you would have died if you seen the state our "squeeky" was in when I first brought her home, took me 2 hours to get the wheel bearings off and the grease was that hard that I couldnt penetrate it with a screwdriver

more rust than trailer we were able to basically start from scratch, but the enjoyable bit was when she was finished

anyway glad that you found one, happy times ahead
