No Matter how hard i try there is always someone trying to cramp my style Now they will be watching all the carparks .
At the last airshow here in Port a couple of enterprising kids took down a fence panel in a cow paddock opposite the airport and were charging for parking . The site belonged to the Catholic church so no harm was done they just sit on the land and do nothing with it
A TRUE STORY? who cares?...I could see this happening.
Outside Bristol Zoo there is a car park for 150 cars and 8 coaches.
There also used to be a very pleasant attendant with a ticket machine charging cars £1 and coaches £5.
This parking attendant worked there solid for all of 25 years , then one day just didn't turn up for work...
"Ho hum", said Bristol Zoo Management - "better phone up the City Council and get them to send a new parking attendant" ......
"Err no", said the Council, "that car park is your responsibility" ...
"Err no", said Bristol Zoo Management, "the attendant was employed by the City Council, wasn't he?" .....
"Err NO!"
Sitting in his villa in Spain is a bloke who had been taking daily the car park fees amounting to an estimated £400 per day at Bristol Zoo for the last 25 years....
Assuming 7 days per week, this amounts to 3 million six hundred & forty thousand pounds.

I'd call it enterprising. We also have some enterprising teenagers down here. maccas here only has the drive through open after 11pm and due to health and safety you have to drive through it not walk. So after the pub shuts and nothing open people were calling taxis to drive them through. The cost would be between $10 and $13 dollars. One young fella decided to take it on and stays at maccas and charges 5dollars to drive through for them to place an order apparantly it has been very profitable. chezgo
