PRODUCT ENDORSEMENTS - has Basil lost his marbles???

I don't normally endorse products but 2 that I have recently found that are exceptionally good value for your ever harder to earn $ and are safe for GN's are:

Members Equity Bank
Sounds too good to be true but it is true, This Bank has no fees like you would normally expect. We "discovered" it recently during the house purchase, guy came to house, mortgage approved in 24 hours, no hubris, brilliant service. They offer a full range of banking services; elcheapo interest credit cards (11%) etc.

and True Blue Rapid Dry Dog Shampoo

This is great if it is inconvenient to wash your dog but you want it smelling "fresh as flowers". Gracie has to be "groomed" for every visit to the nursing homes she goes to and in this cold weather this product really works for us. Spray on libberally, work through the coat and dry off with a towel....... Available in pet shops it comes in a deep royal blue spray on trigger pack.
you may now resume your normal drivel.

I should point out that I have no involvement with either of these just a satisfied user.

HI Bas ..

The ME bank is doing well from what I hear .. A good friend of mine is familiar with the same but as my financial adviser, she simply says that to start in moderation .. don't put all your eggs into one basket .. performance over time is a fair calculator ..

Yep Fair comment, time will tell.... the Bendigo started out well and was a ripper until it was too good so was bought out and is now just like anyother bank....

Basil, I HAVE to ask: What is the red object on Gracie's right flank?
Is it perchance a little pack holding some brandy (emergencies only, of course), or something more mundane?
Cheers, Tony

It is her back pack or if she were south african Beck Peck or if she was a Kiwi it would be her buck puck.....
In it are her bus and rail passes hand sanitizing gel and treats for those so disposed to give her and her whoopsie bags. Because she is a Companion or Therapy dog it is red, green is for working dogs, blue is for hearing dogs, guide dogs have orange, and domestic help dogs ie dogs that answer the door, turn on the lights etc are sposed to be white.
She dosen't wear it all the time, only when she is out and about licking dignitaries noses at the dog park I think the other dogs would s****** at her....
I han't thought of that but there would be room for a flask of medicinal spirits....
It has a badge on it that says "Ask to pat me - I'm friendly"

Thanks for explaining it. I know about companion therapy dogs, guide dogs etc, but it's good to know the harness colours are purpose specific.
Some have a warning, "Please don't pat me, I'm working." So I don't, but I always want to.
Must have something to do with travelling without a pet. Cheers Chris

Of course Granny thats for legal reasons. A dogs owner is liable for the dogs actions so if your dog attacks someone you can be liable, however if you pat a dog that has a warning not to pat it then the liablity may be diminished, that's why even placid Gracie who is used to having her tail pulled eyes poked and ears pulled has to have the "Ask to pat me" sign.....
Maybe you should get a pet?
Why not adopt a house trained male homo sapiens they can be trained to do most things and even share the driving.
