Had a nice week in Townsville, got the washing and shopping done. The humidity is a bit of a shock after so long inland.
Off again tomorrow morning heading for Innisfail and then inland to Karumba via Croydon. Not sure how good the coverage is through the Gulf Country, so after I leave the coast, I may not have a chance to rabbit again until I get to the NT, so don't enjoy yourselves too much while I'm gone.
Greetings, I am a Solo Grey Nomad and am about to head off for the long weekend either down to Innisfail or into Undara. Where are you staying at Innisfail as I presume you will stay there for a few days. If I decide to head down that way we could catch up.
I am leaaving Townsville tomorrow, Friday, plan on spending a couple of nights at Bushy Creek, a day in Ingham and a couple of days at El Arish. Should get to Innisfail about Wednesday 10th. If this fits your window, would love to meet up and have a natter. Will probably stay at the riverview (riverside?) Caravan park for a couple of nights.
