Have any of the wise bods out there had any experience of fitting a water purifier in the van? I am reasonably handy with a spanner, but would like to know how easy or hard this would be ???

presumably you mean a water filter...
I fitted on to my van it was simple came with all the hardware and is very effective. We only use it for drinking and cooking with. Hardest part was finding a place for it....
Got mine at ALDI, twin filters $99....
They can be expensive....

Ebay has a few. Is this the sort of thing you are after?
