hello we were thinking of buying one a couple of years ago and I researched them on google etc and could not find any bad comments. I also spoke to a few owners that i came across in caravan parks and not one had a bad word to say about them. The only reason I didn't buy one was because I could not find a deisel model in my price range. I hope this helps a bit KEITH

We tow our 23' (2000Kg) van with a 2005 Terracan, 2.9CRDI turbo and love it.
We recently did a 6 month trip covering just over 21000 K's with out any problems.
Fuel economy returned 12.7L/100 K's sitting on 2500rpm.

Would not hesitate to recommend as a tow tug.

Having towed a heavy trailer over 25.000k's (Give or take a few) with our trusty diesel fuelled PRADO, and found it to perform excellently, may I suggest you test-drive a new(er) Prado before committing yourself to the Terracan?
