After picking everyboy's brains over the last couple of months, we have put an offer in on a caravan, which was accepted. After what seemed like decades of searching dealers yards, we found a 23 foot Royal Flair Series 6 Van Royce at a good price. Had No 3 son (Used to be a used car salesman) go over it with a fine tooth comb.......no obvious faults. Checked it out also for leaks by going back over 2 days of HEAVY rain. No water anywhere not even in the boot.

Thanks to everybody who took time to respond to my request for information. Now, just have to wait until the 6th of December for the trial run then, January 20th, we take off on a 5 year lap. Hopefully we will catch up with some of you during the trip. Chris (Granny) we did not go near a certain dealer in Perthbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Congrats Noel, we are so jealous!thumbsup.gif but will be doing same next year about August. Hope to catch up to you then- you will be be a veteran traveller by then. We wish you all the very very best for your December trip and the many many more during the next five years.

Here's a couple more of us with the green eyed monster on our backs.

We start ours in late April next year although ours won't be a five year trip unfortunately, but hey, things can change.....I wish............but we certainly won't be putting a return date on it.

I hope you two have the time of your life and it would be nice to meet up somewhere along the way.

You will have to let us all know where you are at any given time so that if anyone is in the area we can have "BB&B" time.
