according to this which is taken off their website.......
BioMagic is a pure Bio-stimulant . BioMagic is comprised of Oxygen, Water and Nitrogen. It is safe on the skin, harmless to animals and very good for the environment. BioMagic is a non-biocide, non-enzyme, non-bacterial, non-volatile, pH neutral liquid that may be sprayed on or mixed with odour producing organic waste.
apparently it can be used in anything in complete safety and therefore would be fine in dumpoints and septics and even on your radishes
the website can be found here........http://www.biomagic.com.au/
so yes you can whack it in the dump point with safety
You are allowed to empty any chemical or storage toilet at a dump point, they are pump out things and the waste is diposed of as chemical waste usually..... Or else the truck empties its load down a disused mineshaft.....

I use Bio-magic.....best thing is.it can be used in top and bottom tank....and has a plesent smell...unlike the other brands that have different ones for each tank.....also you can put some in a pump container and use it as a room freshner too.
Hi, i am going to use a Porta Potti toilet in my van, if i use Bio- Magic in it would i be allowed to empty at a dump point?
With advice from this forum and one other I have always used the generic "napisan" from Coles or Woolies when I can get it. It's cheap and it works. Dump points aren't around much in the outback. But I notice that some c/ps don't like chemicals. Whereas I can usually use their toilet facility..
You'd hope of course that they would check that it was dissused..... I'm amazed that with all the impractical water saving schemes being floated that someone has not come up with the idea of building a pipeline to collect all the eastern states sewage and divert it to Maralinga where it "would make the desert bloom".....

Thanks Dave and all, PS..Napisan has Hydrogen Peroxide for helping to remove stains, therefore is not chemical free.
Hydrogen peroxide breaks down very quickly. Hydrogen peroxide is naturally produced in organisms as a by product of oxygen metabolism. Nearly all living things possess enzymes known as peroxidases, which harmlessly and catalytically decompose low concentrations of hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen.
Hydrogen peroxide always decomposes exothermically into water and oxygen gas:
2 H2O2 2 H2O + O2
So all that would remain after it's oxygenated your "business" is a bit extra water..... Chemistry was always my strong point.....

There has been a great deal of discussion on many forums on the superiority, environmental suitability and performance of the inexpensive nappy soakers over the commercial products.
On the weight of the evidence, there is no contest.
A capful of the soaker powder dissolved in a half litre of warm water goes into the holding tank, and the same quantity of this solution is added to the water in the flush tank.
Your personal experience may vary, but this seems to be a general concensus of what is required for about 3 days service between emptying.
Unpleasant odours are reported as non-existent.

I make up my own brew using borax, cloudy amonia and concentrated disinfectant. I make about 5 litres for about $5, and use it in top and bottom tank. It's okay for dump tanks or sewerage systems and tanks. I haven't tried nappy soaker for the van dunny. I didn't use it for nappies when my kids were babies either. And yes, I used real cloth nappies. They'd only just started inventing disposable nappies back then when my youngest was a baby, and I only used them when we went out. The only thing I won't use is the over-priced Thetford stuff. I did use some other treatment for top and bottom tank, enviro safe, but I can't remember what it was because I had too much trouble finding it, so I gave up. I don't use my van loo for solids, so it's not such a big issue.

We recently tried the Biomagic. Dont know if we did something wrong but gave up after about three trials. It did not work as promised and the smell when emptying was unbeleivable. we have now gone back to the regular bottled chemicals bought from Big W or whereever. Yet to convince hubby to try the Napisan or borax solution.
I just this morning bought some napisan and will give it a go on our trip. Have some of the regular chemicals just in case though.

G'day Ma & Guru,
Do not use the branded Napisan as it does not appear to work properly, Use only Woolies or Coles own brand and you should not have any trouble at all. We have been using the Woolies home brand for some time now without any problems at all.

Thanks for that JRH. It wasn't the brand name one I got but a generic brand, can't remember which one and it's down in the van at the bottom of the village. Will have a look during the weeks.
