Fabulous Fraser Island

Just finished putting together a slide show of a couple of weeks on Fraser Island that we had recently.
28 slides.....There is a control to pause etc on the lower edge if you wave your cursor over it....

Let's know how it plays.....

Cheers,
Peter

Lovely pics, thanks Peter.

The slide show was a bit too fast for my way of thinking ( which is a bit like a foxtrot - slow, slow, thick, thick, slow); a couple more seconds per frame would have made it easier to watch.

I love the rock hopper treads on the Oka!

The bogged 'Forester' reminded me of when I had one of the early Subaru wagons.
It was then that I learned to reduce tyre pressures to pull Landcruisers and Landrovers out of mud and soft sand confusewinkbiggrin

Why is that Daryl? It will go anywhere a "good" 4WD can go..... and some....

Yes Rolly it is too fast but that is the "auto speed", can't change it, but there is a control at the bottom that allows you to stop as you want.
...And the 'Forester' was actually a Honda driven by a lady. She was a little embarrassed, but not the least bit intimidated. It lacked the ground clearance in the deeper tracks, but she did well, considering.

Cheers,
Peter

They won't let 2WD vehicles onto the island at all Daryl, so there is not much choice....

Cheers,
Peter
