Whatever you buy now, the consumer becomes the quality control dept. If you have a problem, the service dept just say, bring her in mate, we'll fix it in a jiffy... when you arrive at the service area, you meet 2 - 3 people with same problem.

we got a recall letter in the mail when we got home from our SA trip, we got a recall letter saying some 240 v leads underneath neaded a cover on them, so we got it booked in for wednesday arvo to go in..
how many does this affect? how many vans do Jayco build every year? what is the percentage of duds to good ones, there are a hell of a lot of them out there!
