Calling all AlFoil heads. After a long period of research I have found the originator of the movement. not the sort of movement we experience daily!!! The real thing, pukka, pre Frankenstien, maybe! Looks genuine, see what you think. Basil, Mr Duck, Ibbo, Smokydk this is what we've been waiting for. We should build a memorial to him. His greatness should be recognised. Ron L Hubbard eat your heart out.
Terro.

Smokeydk........................I am so impressed!! Welcome Brother. Like Sir Terro....you have seen the light. I knew you were one of us but not quite game enough to admit it.
Captain Basil will be proud!!
Sir Terro........that man does indeed look important enough to have been the founder. We shall await Captain Basil's verdict!!
One small correction.........L Ron.........not Ron L. And he was loopy.......quite unlike us! We are self-preservationists

oh terry!!!! I had such great expectations for you, but I see you have been grasped by "the darkside" another "lost" soul doomed to wander enternity with the duck, Ibbo and Dave,
so do I, that would be hellishly funny watching you crap your pants!!
reminds me of a bloke who wandered back into camp up in the simpson with us a few years ago, poor bugger he was absolutely covered in muck all down his back
he used one of those foldup potty things with the bag at the bottom, enjoying the peace and quiet doing his business amongst the dunes, the contraption collapsed and sent him over backwards straight into his muck
well because it wasnt me I found it funny as all get out
Sorry to disappoint you Dave. I tried to walk the fine line but as you know as age creeps on the balance goes. I'm afraid I stumbled into the abyss. What can I say...............I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Terro

well I'm at home surrounded by my family trying to get some paperwork done, kids all over me and I'm getting swamped with cuppas and cake and bikkies, and loving every second of it
it's been raining again, started at around 4.30 this morning, moisture alarms going off all over the joint in the header, bludgers woke me up LOL! so I've shut her down for a couple of days
just watch the temp after chrissy it normally warms up, I would be tempted to head south, down to the mount and port macdonnell and carpenter rocks, a lot of good camps down there and it's looking quite pretty still
if you go to the camp site at piccaninnie ponds ($5 per vehicle per night) choose the site that's directly behind the self registration box (next on right )
it is the largest one there and the most protected, enough room for your c/trailer and car, just watch the midgies in the morning though they are fierce and thick
the beach is only a two minute walk from the camp and a lovely stroll to be found along the shore, very picturesque
around victor harbour is still very green and pretty, a few camps just around the corner well worth a visit
if you watch the forecast you may get a good week to head north but I can tell you arkaroola or wilpena is no place to be in summer
wilpena and arkaroola dont have firbans, nothing to burn, firewood can be purchased at a reasonable cost (ten dollars a bag which is enough for two nights)
so if you head north then you may have a fire in the c/parks, even in fire ban season a fire is still allowed but it must be under observation at all times by a suitable adult, it must have a clearing not less than twenty feet in all directions and a suitable source of water must be at hand
you cannot have a fire on total fireban days, but even then i have seen them in arkaroola and wilpena in the parks, as I said nothing to burn
yep I agree with that, vic may be a better option, inland a little from the gor in to the highlands would be nice, the crowds stick around the road itself and very few venture in to the backblocks, lovely spots all through there and a lot of fantastic free camps and old pubs
