I received a nice surprise invitation to Christmas dinner - Friends of mine from Lincoln, now full-time nomads, are in Cairns to celebrate with their daughters.
They picked me up from the airport and brought me home, and then kindly invited me to share Christmas with them.
Now, that's what Christmas is all about. I don't care what's on the table, as long as it's shared with friends.

In Broome I used to organise orphans' Christmases. Christmas needs to be shared.
I hope everyone has a great day with those close to them.

 Actually it's true and don't refer to them as "Tram Drivers" they are now Americanised and refered to as "Motorman" in the singular and even celebrity Tram drivers like "Streetcar Sue" are Motormen...
