While recently staying at a caravan park in the Broken Hill area our caravan was entered through an open window by "person/s unknown" and my handbag was stolen - our door was locked and we had left our caravan for approx 25 minutes. I was devastated! I write this message for all RVers to be aware and to be very security conscious while travelling this great land of ours.
unfortunately even when travelling you must be aware there are people who prey on others trustworthyness, So when in the great outdoors remember lock when leaving. Even in a park your valuables are not 100% safe as there are oportunists everywhere.
Sorry you had to have a bad experience in oyur first trip out. Just remember there are some lovely and supportive people on thr roqd and I hope it gets better for you
Maybe it's the result of a search for a topic. Always pays to be on the look out for window shoppers around car parks, caravan parks and even camps close to town. It's not just at home they try to get you.
