Nearly 1,000 motorhomes and campervans from around Australia have converged on Carrick in northern Tasmania.
They are here for this year's Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia rally, that started today.
The club is holding a week long rally to celebrate its 24th birthday.
Organiser Diana Worner says it has attracted people from around Australia.
"We know that 800 have come across on the Spirit of Tasmania (ferry) from the mainland so that's a good indication that all the states of Australia are represented here," she said.
I don't qualify. I have a van. The Spirit of Tassie must be rubbing its hand together with all those ferry fares. I hope they all have a good time and the weather isn't too cold as they huddle around the camp fire.

I'm guessing you're there Peter. Do groups go sightseeing during the day? Any other real active activities at these things? Do the locals involve the campers at these things? Are the locals providing services, buses etc, for a hire fee, to get you all around, or are you all having to provide your own transport? Or are the campers considered to be interlopers to be avoided in the otherwise placid, peaceful community? Or have they welcomed you all with open arms? What are some of the attractions of the region/town? The ferry operators will be able to buy a new ferry after this. I suppose some will come straight back to the mainland and others will tarry a while to check out Tassie before heading back. Enjoy!
