I'm aware of the restrictions on fresh fruit, vegies and honey between WA and SA. Are there restrictions on dehydrated vegies (such as mushrooms, carrots etc)? I could cryovac them as well if that would help. Cheers, Tony

If they are in a manufacturers packet like the "Suprise" peas and beans you buy, they are ok but if you do them yourself, I think they would shun them. Not 100% on that, maybe someone else will know.
Also hession bags are taken as well so be aware of that. They do a thorough search, up under the van and all.

.. I think it's hard to predict (in full detail) exactly what they might take. We travelled both ways through the WA blocks just afew months ago, and apart from the common knowlege items they never even mentioned the hessian bags that were wrapped around my metal detector and water jerries .. My thoughts are that any dried fruit or similar products that have not been commercially produced are quite likely to be rejected ..
