Does anyone have any experience of vw's, not the old kombi's, but the T4...they are long based and it appears there are a few different ones, also seen T5 but I don't know what the difference as yet.
Just thought I'd see if anyone has owned/own one, or know of one...there was one on ebay in Vic couple of weeks ago which looked ok. Don't think it sold.
Any thoughts please will be most appreciated...

i just hope i can find the right one..

oh another q
with some they seem to have duel deep cyle batteries and a solar panal on top,
ive been told you can charge the batteries with solar and duel?
also some days i will want to travel, some days ill want to stay in the one
place for a few days. would i be able to run my laptop, ps3 and tvand possibly heater /fan ie 12v/240 will i be able to do this? and how does solar go with a few days or a week of wet weather? ie with no sun? i guess those times i could use the cp's power?

Milo I think you are on top of it , when you get your van make sure you at lest finish up with duel batteries has with solar you need to talk to a company that install solar to work out your demand on power so has to work out the size of the panels you might require to meet your needs you may even need more than one extra battery , but you have work out your demand so thats a good start
