Eyre Peninsular in winter

Hi
We're presently in Alice and thinking of heading for the peninsular for a few weeks.  Can anyone let us know how wet/cold it is at present.  We'd like to be able to do some fishing.  Here at Alice the days are warm and sunny but the nights are pretty chilly.  Beautiful and green countryside against the rich red of the dirt with the rains they've had this year.

The fishing is good in that part of the world the weather is a little unpredictable best watch the weather charts for forecasting a few days ahead.

Big Salmon run that part of the coast so a beach outfit is essential and if they are biting then cold a wet won't enter into the equation .

Have fun

I live in Streaky bay EP the weather at the moment is showery and around 17 to 18 most days. it will be improving next week we havnt been getting out fishing for a couple of weeks but will be starting again next week as the whiting start coming back as the nights have been cool so the waters are cold they dont like that. but some reports of people catching a few. lot of tommy ruff and snook around and also salmon. the bay is full of squid at the moment can catch them all the time. Over at elliston they are catching a lot of salmon. venus bay has a few whiting at the moment. Arno bay if you have a boat are getting snapper off the reef its over between lincoln and Port Augusta. The caravan park here has started to pick up this week has been quiet for last 7-8 weeks. good luck chezgo
