I have a friend on facebook wanting a cheap caravan park in Cairns. I have suggested she join up here and asks but in case she doesn't I thought I would ask. She is wanting one with a cabin. Travelling on her own. I will pass on any I get here.
you would think there must be some up that way somewhere ..will she have own van or she will need a cabin ???? ..if she would like cabin try white rock leisure park web site but dosent look like they have van site just cabins starting at $49.00

If it was me I would go for a backpackers, not sure if she would do that but will suggest it. Not having a car she might find a backpackers closer to town than a caravan park.
Left hand side menu. Go into caravan parks, click on Queensland, then Cairns. Lists all the C/P's in Cairns. For that matter it lists all the parks in Australia. Its a great site.

bit late but Qld have a very good caravan book out, FREE, Also the First City Caravilla has cabins, and all tour bookings, close to some good amenities as well
