My caravan rebirth

Some time back I thought I would update my van before heading off for a circuit of somesort in january but when looking a a suitable replacement to make it worth while I would have had to spend $30k
So my van has been resealed, resprayed the exterior, painted and done some repairs inside, new cook top, new fridge, new carpet, new curtains, new 12 volt system, new water pump, new rear bumper bar with spare wheel carrier and aliminuim storage box.
Things still to do are new awning with walls, fit 2 new water tanks, finish off the modifacations to the bed for easy storage and complete a couple extra cubboards inside. 3 new tyres and new wheel bearings, new tow hitch.
The van is an early 80's millard with aliminuim frame and galv chassis and for the wife it has ensuite, so I may be over captalising a bit but have decide this will be home for the next 12 months or so. Will post up some pics when completed.
cheers

The way to go blaze, Did the same some time back and we think our van would trump some of the so called new style vans. plus all thats in there is new and thats the main aim.. Have done around 120th ks since revamp.. It dont have all that wood grain and stain ect ect.
The price of some new van leaves me flat, Good on you for saying how it is ... Im all for fixing old things and not scrapping them..Our van is a vicount and alim. frame as well.. They made vans back in the 80s right..We looked at some and mate if i had taken them where we have been with this van they would be a wreck now.. Think this will be the norm ..

Good one blaze.. BobnBev
