Between Rockhampton and Marlborough (Qld.), on the Coast Marj. The Defence forces hold Manoeuvers up there quite often.

I hope you have good suspension, because the road in bloody rough ,and has bulldust and coregations, but its a lovely spot when you get there. the plum tree camping area is just acroos from the pub and the channel between Stanage and Quion Isand is right out front. NOTE-take plenty of rid and mossie coils. Have you got a tinny? You can hire boats there. The crabbing and fishing is great.Its just like going to NT, but your still in QLD. I hope you have a great time. Bill

Roscoe - its not Playboy - its "The Tasmanian Babes Fiasco" by John Birmingham - go to the library and get it out its a hoot of a read- also get "He died with a felafel in his hand" - the "Babes" is the sequel....
