You've got to remember a lot of people would have viewed more than once. I must have gone in 4 or 5 times to check the results. So the number for viewers against voters is way out.
580 views of the survey ... but only 71 voted ....
and NSW and QLD pretty close winners ... Vic behind ... rest too few...
Not sure it was all worth it probably ...
Cheers - back to happy travelling
Cheers Julie & John
I thought it was a good idea. Can't please everyone. I voted then had a look a few times to check what was happening. It only takes a second to tick the box.
Rockylizard Like a lot of others here, I voted and then checked back from time to time to view results. I think the survey was a great idea. Cheers. Travel Bug.
Same here. Checked back many times. Don't forget there are 34 replies that have also been viewed at various times by everybody. Also there are 100's of us that are "out there' at this time and may not have computer access. I have been for weeks without internet coverage or simply have not wanted to waste the battery.

I love surveys too and go back often to check the tally. I hope everyone who votes actually clicks twice-once to choose answer and then at the bottom on the vote button.
I must admit, the split by state surprised me .... Mainly eastern states are greynomads or it is just the eastern states have the greater population therefore provide the most numbers.
It was interesting ....
Cheers and happy travelling Julie & John

Rockylizard on our small of our little group your can't come to any conclusions on which state has the most grey nomads , just on my research while on the road I see more Victorian than any other state registered vans and have asked caravan park owner where most caravaners come from they say bloody Victorian

Gday...
I can agree to some extent. When we were travelling in QLD, particularly in the outback, Vic plates were the greater number ... with a fair few NSW and not many QLD. Closer into the QLD coast QLD plates gained in numbers. Travelling in outback/western NSW... again more Vic plates ... fair spattering of both QLD and NSW. We are in Glenrowan Vic at the moment and the park is ALL Vic plates.
We have occasionally seen SA and WA but not very often.
The survey certainly was interesting but I thought SA and WA might have been higher, simply thought those states may travel more in the western half of OZ and I hadn't seen them. Oh well .... it certainly whiled away the time for a bit seeing how it developed.
Cheers and happy travelling Julie & John

You must remember Queensland is Gods Country everybody wants to be there
First up Im tasmanian. Dont see how all queenslander (mybe only most) claim it to be gods country. Well lets see, it can get bloody hot and humid depending on where you are, probably has more rain than any other state and no capacity to deal with the excess. Nice place to visit, has some good fishing but no thanks to living there. Now lets look at tassie (nw coast, cause I know it better) Average rainfall of 970mm with a good spread thoughout the year Best farming (dairy and crop) in australia Cleanest air in the industriesed world (measured at cape grim) Great unpoluted beaches No extremes in weather temp. Most photogenic state I could go on I love travelling on the great island to the north, have covered from coast to desert (30 000 odd km in the last 2 years) but I do love to come home, often feel I have a tear in my eye as I watch the sun rise as the spirit of tasmania heads to port on the way home as the land bekins me back once again cheers blaze
