I am at Inkerman, south of Homehill.Turn off at the shop, and go 5klms to Wallaces landing. Sandflies are bad, but I got 10 big mudcrabs off the bankand some good bream and grunter on herring bait.Toilets ans solar lights at the ramp.Water at inkerman store. Also, go to the top of the hill for a look, you can see for miles.My uncle in Bowen and I are eating well tonight! Bill
No. To get to Wunjunga or Beachmont,you have to go a couple of klms south of the Inkerman and go about 10klms across the salfflats to Funny Dunny Park.There is water and toilets, but sandflies, also.No shop. The fishing is good off the beach.You have to go right from Wallaces landing to Groper creek about 8klms by boat to get to Wanjunga.I went down for a look in my car topper, and the creek is very impressive, full of fallen mangrovesand crabs (and sandflies) .Bill
We tried , but saving some for my birthday om 10th nov, was hard as I had to beat off my uncle and a few mates.Could have had 20, but only allowed 10 in QLD. Many female and small bucks.Good spot, will go b ack again.
