I don't think I'm right, but is it The Shearers Hall of Fame at Hay NSW?

Casterton, Victoria.

This is the perfect example to illustrate to you all, what I mean about Googling.
That's how I found it.  Clicked on Images, and typed in "Dog on Sheeps' Back Statue".

Only time I've done it for this thread.

Cheers,
Sheba.

100_0076.jpgDon't know if I should do this, but I'm sure some-one will let me know if I've done the wrong thing.   I will NOT Google another one, I promise.

Cheers,
Sheba.

Hi Guys,
I really was awake at that time, and I have already promised not to Google these again.

I  only did it to see if it would work, and then, seeing as I'm always telling people to Google everything they want to know, I decided to post it as a good example of what I was telling them.

Sorry, but I'm in Qld.  So is the Pic.  It's one I took myself.   I didn't think we were supposed to post just any Pics, or am I wrong ?

Do we have to stay in Australia ?  I don't have too many from here yet.

Cheers,
Sheba.

Just my personal opinion for what it's worth but I think we should stick to Australia and preferably a picture taken on our own travels.   What do the rest of you think?

Your pic looks fine to me Sheba as long as its a spot us caravanners may have seen in our travels so it can be recognized by at least one of us.

If no one can get it in a few days then it may be time to drop more of a hint to keep the quiz moving.

And I agree Ma, pics from our own Australian travels are whats needed here.

Cheers
Jon

Agree with Ma and Jon. our own photo's from our travels in Aust. and something that someone may eventually recognise. Brings back great memories, and places to keep in the memory banks for later.

The pic looks a bit like Lake Placid, Barron River, Cairns.
It's a beautiful photo, but that's my guess.

It's definitely a place at least a few of you have been to, but not Lake Placid Chris.

I agree with the others, would havew to be Australia. And how about keeping the photo to size so we don't have to scroll a mile to the right to see it all and read all the posts.

Not many takers on this one.
Is it too hard for our seasoned travellers? no
Sheba is waiting patiently for someone to get it.  yawn.gif

It's on the Free/Budget Campsites thread.   Thought some-one might have tried that by now, although I had forgotten I was here under another name then.
Won't tell you that though, that would make it too easy.

Cheers,
Sheba.

Ok, I'll guess Bushy Parker near the Rollingstone Pub (Bruce Hwy nth of Townsville). I've not stayed there but have stayed at the Big4 just up the road, also had a beer at the pub there (surprise surprise). It is only a guess following on from your hint. I think the problem is that there is nothing "iconic" or readily recognisable in the photo.

You got it Jim.  I thought any-one who had seen that beautiful Swimming Hole would recognise it immediately.  [ I know, you haven't stayed there, but I was only there for a couple of hours for a rest stop.]
Will try to do better next time,

Cheers,
Sheba.

Yep, that's the one, well done!
Have yourself a nice glass of red!

The pub closed down for a time earlier this year when the publican shot through unexpectedly.
Managed to open up again - just in time for the annual race meeting!!

Somewhere in the Northern Territory/Central Aus., but I have no idea where. Haven't got there yet.

This is not meant to be a serious answer.

Unless it's a waterhole at the base of Uluru.

Cheers,
Sheba.
