I don't think the majority of us are averse to paying to stay in a van park but some are just blatant rip offs.
We free camp AND stay in van parks as do most of you and I think Technomads suggestions do definitely have merit and his comments are very close to the mark.
I have been in the hospitality area and whilst not in caravan parks very close to it. If you offer a good, clean and consistent venue and at a reasonable price your recurring clientelle are fairly much assured and also your cheapest form of advertising, word of mouth.
Location , location , Location . Big demand in prime Location you can charge more, more clients than sites this land is worth more than land at Mitchell , same has renting a house why are house rents in Sydney North Shore dearer than rent in Blackall
