We found a great spot at Macquarie Woods, between Orange and Bathurst to wait until the worst of the flooding goes - can't see any point in moving on when you don't know if the next place to camp is open, under water and closed!!!
Millthorpe - now that is a busy little place on a Sunday!!!

Have changed it, it is Macquarie Woods!! - having a grey moment, thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it!!! Just testing you Jonathon, just want to make sure you are all paying attention!!!
yes .. its Macquarie Woods .. but you were close ! Such a small world .. I was fortunate to just now meet both of you (Kath ands Allan) .. who are also staying here.
Well John and Anne (Jandas) .. After leaving your place this morning, I heard on the radio sked that the road to Mindooran was cut by flood waters .. so I just came back to Macquarie Woods ..
Set up the the big antenna so will now just 'vegie' out for a few days. Forecaste is for quite heavy showers in the next few days, so I just might have to make it one huuuuge 'happy' hour ..
Rain ! Rain! , Is it raining.?.. Been in tassie a week and have had 2 sunny days, lucky we have sat tv, and repetstar... have not spent so much time in bed since I had measels ... All good ,and a well earned rest, still have 3 n a half months left. So whats the hurry.. Its all nice and green. And you dont have to go far to see things. I asked a chap how to get to ?? and he said its a long way 120 ks. Big smile, they are a captive lot here, but friendly as hell.. The little honda is so quite the guy next door to us, 30 feet away, didnt know it was running..

.. hope to be spending Christmas at Naracoorte this year .. but not sure if I'll get to Adelaide this time .. After Xmas, I hope to be moving westward again to spend time on the nullabor .. then up the west coast from about March ..
Wuruma Dam is a lovely spot, we went there for a few days in October before leaving Apple Tree Creek on our big adventure of living in our caravan and starting to see more of this wonderful country and not having to worry about 'going back'.
