Are we not being a little bit on the soft  side...When we can't discuss World affairs without being Juian Assange......I'm from a generation that said what we felt...And was not being censured like they do in China......Why are we acting like that ?

Hi guys,
Just a point of clarification. It is not my intention to censor anybody. Of course, people can discuss whatever issues they like. However, when the debate becomes ‘heated’ and descends into personal attacks and creates ill feeling then this ceases to be the forum for such discussions. This is a friendly, welcoming, inclusive forum primarily for people who wish to discuss travelling and grey nomad related issues. There are numerous other places on the internet and elsewhere where people can ‘vent their spleen’ on controversial political issues. This is, above all else, a positive place.
