After 2 years, I'm still out there!!

I can't believe that it has been 2 years now that I have been on the road! A lot of the newbies won't know me as I haven't been on here too much lately.
I'm a Kiwi, who sold up all to come over here, buy a m/home and drive around the block! I've done, Vic, SA, NT and WA. It's taken me two years because I am not old enough to be pensioned yet, so pick up work for a couple of months at a time to pay my way. I've sorted onions, been a Woolies checkout chick, Target door person, worked in a Nickle Mine, and other sundry jobs. I also earn enough each time to get a trip back home to NZ to visit my Son/Partner and my only Grandson.
I am off home for Christmas, then back to Melbourne in early Feb and off to Tazzie for two months. After that ..... it's up the eastern side of the paddock!
I really could write a book, but for now, will just wish you all a very merry Christmas, and safe and happy travels for 2011.
Cheers, Bubs

There's at least one book in all of us, whether we travel or not.
Give it a go when you have some quiet time. Just start writing. It doesn't have to be correct, orderly or even make sense. Just start writing, and you can put it all together later.
I carry a writing book with me wherever I go, and I also have a notebook and biro in my handbag in case the inspiration overtakes me at the least appropriate moment.
It doesn't have to be a travel journal or diary. Just the stories as you experienced and remember them.
Enjoy everyday and have a great Christmas.

Hi Bubs

Glad to see you haven't 'dropped off the perch' so to speak.

Have a good Christmas.

Cheers
