Why wouldn't you want to use photobucket Sheba. Its a fantastic site where you can do all sorts with your photos. I have thousands of photos stored there, they are protected, others can't see them if you tick the correct boxes. And its all free.
All my Photos are just in My Pictures. The Forums have ways you can attatch Photos to Posts, which I find much simpler than having to go through Photobucket, and for me, simplest is best. That's all free too.
Re your web browser, when you have your Google page open look at the top left corner it will say the name of the browser see below
How are you trying to post pics in Grey Nomads?
When you say In Properties, General, how do you get to this?
downloadspark is a forum building program and should have nothing to do with posting pics.
I do not want you to use photobucket all the time, just want you to try it to see if it allows you to post pics with the IMG tag, if it does then we will know what the problem is and can look for another program that does the same thing, so go and have one try with photobucket, if you are not sure how to use it let me know.
Hi Wombat, I'm glad you're a patient person. I have Mozilla Firefox on the bottom Taskbar. Nothing beside Google [just a blank box] on the Toolbar up top.
Just noticed at the VERY top of the page, above the toolbars, it says Windows Internet Explorer. Is this my Browser ? Someone on another Forum mentioned having problems posting Pics. with IE, so switched to Mozilla Firefox.
How would I make that my Browser ?
I post pics using the Grey Nomad attatchment method.
The Properties, General bit is from your reply of the 26th. "Why can't I see pictures on a website ?" Scroll down to "Right click the red "X", then click Properties.
I have posted pics on another Forum using Photobucket, but I'm not comfortable using it. The other ways are so much simpler.
Cheers, Sheba.

I like that one wombat. He's or she's been holding on for a long time???? Maybe got it's teeth stuck.
I like them all Wombat. I'm going to show them to Basils' [The big one] parents. They'll love 'em too.
Marj, they're really very good friends. Unfortunately, Basil's just too big to let him play with my two now. He still likes to play and jump around, and his size is a problem. He could kill them accidentally. He has such a good nature though. I know other dogs who would have bitten Devils' head off for doing that.
I know what you mean Sheba, my little one Punky is only one and half kilos in weight and 4 and half months old. My daughters Rotty is half her age and weighs 15 kilos. When I take Punky around there they play but only with my daughter holding Diesel on a lead, for safety sake.
Yep, you are running IE as your browser, close IE and open Firefox and follow these instructions below
Now try to upload your pics and see if it is a IE problem, let me know how you go, did you know you can grab those dog pics and print them yourself, just right click the pic and select Save As, it will save them to your pooter, do it for each pic you want.
PB has recently been updated and is very easy to use, when was the last time you used it?
If you are using the Nomad option you must be doing something wrong because the Nomad option will show a small pic and when clicked on will expand to a larger size and your pic of basil 18 months ago does not follow that format. ie: its large and not clickable.
wombat that is right. When I use the nomad upload I get the small photo too which can be clicked on to see a larger one. If I copy and paste I get the bigger one. Haven't used photobucket onto here yet.
where you able to see the pick of basil 18 months ago?
I used to get Pics. like yours [which I can see] Wombat, but I've still got the red Cross for Basil. I can't understand why it changed. As I said, I changed no settings.
Are you now using Firefox? I need to know this so that I can reseach more
Have you tried posting a pic here while running Firefox? If not try one and let me know how you go

Hi Wombat,
Sorry, but I missed a couple of your posts. When I looked tonight, I found them, and I can now see the Basil Pic. I know I'm dumb, but how do I shut down IE ?
I save Pics. all the time Wombat. Getting a pretty good Collection . Am saving all the Basil and Devil ones, don't worry. You're doing a good job there.
Why didn't my "Favourites" come with this one. Had to Google the Forum to get back on.
Cheers, Sheba.
This is called "Dancing with Crocs." It's in Darwin, at the place where you can swim with them. Don't know what's happening Wombat. I put this Pic on, and the one in the previous Post, using exactly the same method, while using Firefox as the Browser. Neither Pic showed there.
Just went back and checked the original Basil and Devil Pic, and it's now clear as a bell. Wish I could work out what was happening.
Sheba.

Hope this means that you are now able to post and see you own posted pics, is that correct? Windows can be very fickle at times, some problems can be fixed just by closing the system down and then restarting again
Could be the IE got frightened when it saw you using Firefox and decided it had better start working properly or you may change browers.
You will not need to remove IE if you are now using Firefox, in fact I believe that Firefox needs to have IE on the system, I think Firefox uses the IE engine to run, just use the browser that suits you best, ie: the one you are most used to, and the one that does what you want to, after all computers are controlled by people
