Well, you have been busy wombat.. Have given me some ideas. Some on what to use and some on what NOT to use. Poor Punky looks like she's trying to escape.
Like the fairy and flowers on the side, thats kinda cute.
Its a different Paint Allara. I use that Paint in Gallery and haven't seen it there.
Starting to feel a bit better, have finally showered and dressed. Yes i know its lunchtime but have washed al lthe bedding and its out on the line so have done something today.
Yippee!! My son in law has offered to do all the electricals. He is an electrician and has done out his Nissan patrol in the back for fridges etc. Will get a deep cycle battery and do all the connections throughout. He also gave me some neat ideas I will show you once all set up. (for storage and bed)

I was going to ask if you were planning on doing the camp shower thing. You really need to if you want to do free camping. A duck bath is okay, but nothing like a real shower.
I was given one too, but haven't had to use it yet.
Yes, its all falling into place now. Have a list of things to go looking for tomorrow and Monday. Camping stores, Bunnings, Curtain shops etc. My son in law also said he will suss out some form of framework for my bed, high enough for storage underneath. I have to go to Clark Rubber and suss out the mattress once he has worked out the measurements.

Check out the mattress prices Marj. I found it was cheaper to buy a mattress at A Mart (don't know if you have them down there) and cut it to size. My daughter helped me unpick the seam on the cover, cut it and just tack it back together. Then we put a fitted mattress protector over it and a vinyl fitted mattress protector under it. I haven't slept on it since doing that, but I think it'll be more comfy than the mattress that came with her.
BTW...The vinyl is because I'm getting a little water in at the hinge end. Don't quite know how to fix that. Maybe I'll post a thread for that little problem.

No, we don't have A Mart Beth, have checked out Clark Rubber and they will cut it down to size for me. Have been told to get a good density one so doesn't feel like sleeping on boards. I like your idea of the mattress protector over it and vinyl protector under it. So with all that you shouldn't get any sweating/mould on the foam should you?
Well that's the plan, so I hope it works out okay. She'll still have to be aired well before going back into her shed after a trip. Unless I can find a solution to the leakage.
This mattress is nice and dense. I layed on it for a while in the shop! haha
Up here, Clark Rubber was more exxy than A Mart. But I guess I'm lucky to have lots of choices within a short distance of me.
When we had a camper we put those square clip together foam floor tiles under ours and that seemed to solve thhe moisture problem. congrats on the new purchase cheers blaze
Thats ok Beth54, not sure the foam on foam will work, bit I do know the newspaper does it for us, but if blaze says it works then try newspaper first it will be cheaper, if it don't work for you then go with the squares Beth54 wrote:
That's a good one too. May even be better than the newspaper..sorry Wombat.

Thanks Blaze.
It would be the vinyl mattress protector that would be against the foam, but I get your point. Thanks.
hi we are new to this forum but we have been advised that you may be able to offer us some hints We have just brought a nisson ST and a 20ft Starcraft and find that we seem to be using a lot of fuel. It is an auto/diesel how is the best way to drive
Hi Magraret Welcome to the forum. It is best that you start a new topic with some idea of the area of interest as your topic. That way those with knowledge on the subject are more likely to read and comment.
