I now have no job, dont know how to feel about that yet. Been working since I left school at 15yo. 13 more sleeps until we get on the boat to head to the big island to my north, couple of days in Werribee and then head to the Barossa to see my sister for a couple days. Then we will start the trek across the nulabor to the west. Will post up a pic of the van and vehicle next week so if ya see me be sure to say hi.

Congradulations Blaze! Enjoy! I retired on 20th May last year and hubby and I have been on the road since October 2010 still have to pinch myself each morning to make sure I am not dreaming. I too worked since I was 15 just turned 63 on 9th this month and feel like 20 again. Life is good so you enjoy every single moment of it you have well and truly earned it. We might cross paths on our journeys, good luck. Dawn

Hope you have many hours of happy travelling Blaze. Shame you're not heading across along the coast. Could have called in for a cuppa. But then all parks are booked out down here along the coast. Might catch you on the road later in the year.

Well done and congrats on your new life. I wish you safe and happy travels.

I'm doing the opposite. After being pensioned off with health stuff, I'm returning to the work force after surgery gave me my health back.
Nothing hard or strenuous, but I'm keen to get back out there to top up the diesel fund for more kms.
I'm parked up near Adelaide for the duration, so if anyone is passing call in for a cuppa or happy hour.
