We met a couple who always carried a bread-maker, just so she could bake his bread the special way he liked it! smile

yep, we have been known to carry a bread maker.

The breadmaker is an essential item for me. It's usually the only way I can get a decent loaf of bread. I also mix my own bread mix rather than use bought ones.

A toasting fork weighs a lot less than a bread-maker, and even stale bread tastes great when given a bit of campfire toasting ! (including a bit of ash)

Even better with you-beaut home baked bread (no wonder I'm overweight!). I sometimes carry up to 12kg of my bread mix too so that adds to the weight. (both me and the van!). I compensate by storing the beer in the car.

box of office supplys/consumables

Then theres the stuff for when we leave the van
sleeping bags
self inflating matress
2 burner gas cooker
tent (pick up when we get to Perth)

and I could go on

I find it so exciting when I think something won't fit but suddenly find a vacant space which will fit the item perfectly. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And this mix makes a damn fine loaf. Delivered for breakfast, still warm.
Not good for the mid-section, but oh, soooo yummy.
You can park in the same park as me any time, just for that loaf.

As I live like this all the time, no real estate or furniture, and therefore, no clutter.
The back of the Landcruiser "Rosy" is the shed where I store heavy stuff like the annexe walls, the tool boxes and other necessary accessories.
The only "clutter" is the winter clothes under the bed in case I have to visit the southern states in winter. There's even space in the wardrobes for more if necessary, which contains the necessary dress up and dress down items and a few shoes to compliment that combination.
If I cope this will be the first winter since 1996, if I cope.
Broome is looking good again.
I have a combination printer, copier, scanner to go with the laptop.
When I have a clean out, if I haven't used the items in the previous 12 months, they get ditched, sold or given away.
Just remember, if you're going interstate, you can't take all the pot plants, not even the parsley.
