Hi all. I've been up to visit my sister and brother-in-law at Cooloola Cove Qld for a few days. It's east of Gympie, and just short of Tin Can Bay. It's one of those quiet seaside areas where the people are nice and friendly and life is pretty relaxed.
I can highly recommend the Cooloola Cove Country Club for a good meal and night out. I might be biased about that though..because I won a meat tray! First time in my life! I was very excited!
I'm looking forward to many visits to the area in the future.
Dero and I drove through the hinterland of Cooloola yesterday, on our way home from Brisbane. I was raving on to him about how beautiful it was. Didn't go to the beach, but the country side is just gorgeous!!!! Cheers Dellie

Yes, I love all that Gympie area. It always seems to be green, even in past years when we've been in drought everywhere else. The rolling green hills are a picture! Unfortunatley, I didn't take any photo's of said hills!
There was a fair amount of rain while I was there, so would have been miserable photo's anyway.
