I saw this devastation for the first time today. I'd seen these photo's..my son took them..but was totally amazed when I saw it with my own eyes!

The last photo is from the internet, just trying to find a 'before' photo for those who don't know the area.

It used to be a huge park with many BBQ shelters, playground and kiosk. The kiosk was relocatable and they moved it to the top of the hill before the flood.


Forgot to say, this is the upper reaches of the Brisbane River, to the north of Ipswich.
