Happy Wanderers High Ace Ownership Experience

After reading HW's experience with her High Ace purchase it does make you wary of dealing with used vehicle merchants although I am sure there are some who are not that way, I know a few I would deal with but not many others.

HW's experience so far have been a nightmare, see this link;

http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?aBID=51933&p=3&topicID=41253959&page=1&sort=oldestFirst

Hope it will all soon be behind you HW and you can start to enjoy your new van,

Sincerely
Vic

IMHO you can NEVER trust a used car salesman, or a Real Estate Agent.

HW, just continue on your way and forget about Steve, just go forward and enjoy your vechicle, happy travels

Isn't that funny, Steve said the same to me the other day. Real Estate Agents and Car Salesmen are at the top of the list of people not to trust. He was actually having a dig at himself. I said I would have thought Politicians would have been up there somewhere.

Don't have to deal with them anymore. Its safely with my mechanic totally in my name and their plates removed. It cost me 52.00 for a Temp Permit but worth every cent.

I am not sure Vic, if Happywander's experiences have been a nightmare. I would think its just the usual when buying a vehicle with a few Klms from a dealer. I am assuming that H.W has bought the vehicle and is happy with it, her mechanic having checked it out. Is this the state of play? and if so well done, you cannot be over cautious.

All happy sailing for her now Pete we hope, if not a nightmare then certainly a stressful time which could have been more pleasant with the right salesman.

Not a nightmare Pete. Yes I can assure you it was and the mileage was never mentioned at any time all throught the sale.
As I said in my thread I have purchased 4 vehicles in Aus since moving here in 1997 and this is the only time I have ever been through what happened, the other 3 were all a breeze.
Now lets all get on with life. Will start a new happy thread all about my new campervan.
