Did anyone see the story tonite  ... national parks officers should hang their head in shame ....  Same old story money from  tourist come before welfare of these beauitful dogs
If we treated out pet like that and none of us would .. we be taked to court by R.S.P.C.A  what  make this any differnet ????

This is a distgusting and a national embarrassment   to treat one of our native amimals like this ......

The parks are a law un to them selves. I have fed hungry" dogs " on the nulla many times with road kill..
Let a sheep get in that condition on your farm and under your control and see what happens..or a dog ,horse ,what ever..
They dont deserve to be in charge of anything , and should be held to the law the same as you and me ..
Big shame on the whole parks ....
What would it take to desex some and control the breeding , and what would it take to feed them even road kill, there seems to be plenty of that around..
They seem to be able to fit them silly bloody ear tags, what a joke..
But if you go to unie, and learn all about wild life you are a instant expert...like yer
Thought that girl was doing a good job, and that is the real reason all this happened.. carnt show the fools up..
Have seen some other work that the so called parks have done that realy is dumb.
like cutting down all the date trees ,that the old Afgans planted..
Useing a chopper to spray weeds but wouldnt stop and walk 5 feet of the road to dig one up..
I could go on but pointless
The question ,yes it made my bloody boil as well ,big time...

yes i was sicken to see this program ..some many way to slove this problem ..like give dingo back their island ..I had dealing with national parks to and most are loud mouth know alls
like you said go to uni and you are a expert ..well if .... Jennifier was just a scape goat i feel for all their mistakes ..... but now this is out in open maybe different outcome ..as for feeding the dingo there are some many way this could happen with out any interaction with these animals leaving them to live as they should ..but if there no food on the island what chance do they have without human help .....

Funny thing is the wild pigs and cats prosper in National Parks and nothing is done about them.

no We were told when on Fraser Island that the dingoes lived mainly on dead horses that died of sand colic (terrible painful way to die) horses allowed in a national park?  I can,t see why they can,t feed scraps from the hotels etc in a compound well away from humans. The condition of the dingoes are a national discrace.

The horses "Brumbys" did NOT all die from sand colic!!!!! They were culled...... APPARENTLY... they were doing too much damage to the sand dunes. APPARENTLY!!!!!! They had been there forever, and the Island had not dissappeared into the ocean.. The wisdom of some leaves a lot to desire!!!

How did the dingos survive before man's intervention?
At Coffin Bay National Park, sw of Port Lincoln they have the Coffin Bay pony. A remnant of the early days. The ponies come from se Asia somewhere.
They trap them, leave only one stallion and a dozen or so mares, and then remove the rest. They make great kids ponies. They have a calm temperament.
Up in the Kimberley they air drop baits, but they make them a bit smaller so the feral cats will take the baits as well as the dingos.
We also found a few foxes up that way as well.
Then there are the feral donkeys. They catch 1, put a tracker collar on it, wait until they are all together then I think they shoot them in the paddock.
More dingo, cat and fox fodder I guess. The cycle of life.
