Kyabram Victoria now has a dump point.

Quite a big article in todays paper about a dump point being installed in Kyabram 6 months ago. Will type out the relevant bits.

Kyabram Fauna Park is bouncing back after 4 years of drought. The Fauna park manager Ron Pope credited some of the success to a dump point.
The grey water and toilet disposal point installed 6 months ago in Fauna Park Drive is paying handsome dividends for the park and for Kyabram in general.
58 thousand members of CMCA receive monthly newsletters in which Kyabram is listed as a "RV Friendly" town.
In a survey of its members CMCA found 89% of it members are likely to visit a RV friendly town.
The park has achieved profile this year through the dump site.
People who had never heard of Kyabram have seen that it is RV friendly and have decided to make a stop.

End of abbreviated quote.

Now, my understanding from nomads on here, the only one in Echuca is in the caravan park and you have to pay to use it, it might be worth a small trip on a bit further to Kyabram to use their dump point and see the fauna park at the same time.

I haven't been to it myself but have always wanted to and will do so one day.

Or, if you go a little further on to Mulwala, theres a free one at a boat ramp/recreation reserve - but lots of no camping signs as its beside a caravan park on the lake. lol

im just wondering, if i ever end up getting my own camper van at some stage,
and get one of those small portable porta loos ,can you use them and empty them in dump points? would that be allowed? , if so would save worrying about the need of
a unit with a loo/shower... most carvan sites are pretty good with showers, this would be good for those middle of the nights when wet / cold etc..

say something like these

porta loo
