Hi Smokey

We have had one from Infront Camping for years, firstly on the Campertrailer and now Caravans spare tyre.

These have a pocket on the outside so you can store plastic rubbish bags. We buy the cheaper strong bags in bulk and store them in this pocket. Then it is just a matter of taking a bag out to line the canvas bag. We also have some cable ties in the pocket to tie off the filled bag.

Ours is the V2 model without the flap but if buying again I would purchase the one with the flap as we find dirt/dust gets on the zip and causes a bit of a hassle.

Just a happy customer, who recommends this chaps products.

BTW I had to put a couple of eyelets in the bottom of the bag to allow rain water to drain. I think they are now made with drainage.

Thanks Ron....for the idea on using the rubbish bag as liner ours from Halls doesnt have the pocket.......I decided on the metal zip and buckles...as I didnt know how long the plastic ones would last....I know velcro is only as good as it is if clean...dirt and dust will not help

smileWe have one on our Patrol Spare tyre.
It is a black Widow one.
I simply hunted around until I found a small kitchen garbage bin (plastic) that fitted neatly inside . This ensures that the bag stays a square shape so refuse is easy to dump in it.
This plastic bin then has a liner just the same as the kitchen ones and it is just a simple job to pull the liner out tie it up and dispose of same.
If the liner leaks (as some times the litter will put a hole in it ) one just takes it out and rinses the plastic bin. This keeps the bag reasonable clean.
Sounds like a lot of ado but once set up it is a breeze to use and empty.
Most of my friends that have one have now adopted my idea.wink

Cheers Dodg.
