Sorry I've been a while replying, had provider probs (telstra - need I say more) and haven't been able to access the net for a while.
I haven't been to the Redcliffe showground camping area, someone else recommended it to me for when I arrive in Brissie early next month so its great to know someone who's there and sees it first hand, it has made me feel a lot more confidant to stay there. Do they have a time limit that you can stay? If you're still around when I arrive please pop over and say hi I'll be the one with the little A'van
Sorry we will not be here, going tomorrow. from what I have seen there does not appear to be any time limit, however the caretaker seemed to prefer if you book. though we didn't & there was no problem. just a gut feeling on my part, could be wrong. enjoy your stay

It may have been me who recommended it. I am always talking the home town up. We have friends who stay there often with their two dogs and they cant speak highly enough of it (Redcliffe showgrounds) that is.

Thats right Petengail you did reccoment the showgrounds to me, thank you
Terry I sent the council an email to see if I could book in advance but the return email said they only accept bookings from clubs etc, others can only stay if room is available, so I'll just have to take pot luck I guess
