Wish they were like that on th Murray . If you catch any , DON'T leave em on th bank , take em home
& compost them , they make ok fertiliser & you don't leave th ova on th bank to spawn on th next flood .

Would make good Charlie Carp, plant fertiliser. I did find it funny. How many other fish fly thorugh the air in their hundreds like that. There was another couple of videos next to that one taken by different people. I was amazed to see so many.
Have to agree though why didn't they just throw them back in the water, you can't eat them and would have saved them doing so much damage to themselves.

You might not believe it but I have had fish jump into my boat, the biggest a 2 m shark! Now thats a good story. I had a big spanish mack on , and this big noah was right behind it trying to eat it . As I got it close to the boat, I gaffed the mack, about 30lbs, and the shark jumped in too, which made it even more interesting.The shark was spinning and trying the bite everything within reach, so I grabbed my rifle, and put the barrel against its head. Only one problem- it moved, and I blew a hole in the bottom of my boat.......So I,ve got an angry shark , a big mack , both trying to bite me and a new fountain in the boat. I subdued the mack, managed to shoot the shark, and used the towelling rial from the wheelhouse to fix the fountain, with help of a little silastic. Footnote, I got $90 for the shark, and caught another 9 macks for the morning. Quite entertaining at the time.

Good story Bill, Gave me a very good laugh imagining it on Funniest Home Videos. Especially causing your own fountain in the boat.

No, an old m1 carbine, 30 cal pistol bullets, but they go though 3mil steel easily. I shot a big tiger, 5.8m long , 3 times, and it only shook itself, and swam off. It was tangelled in 100m of net the next morning, and had 1/2 a dolphin in its gut.We used a chainsaw to cut the head off...........

I enjpy the odd fishing tale from bill as I can picture it happening and could tell simular storys, To me it was a happy tale as bill survived, some dont on the high seas
