Not in SA. I now have to buy rubbish bags because the supermarkets don't use them anymore. You have to buy shopping bags and take them with you every time you go shopping. You pay anything from 15cents to $2 for a variety of bags.
So I won't be using the plastic bag method for sifting out the drain scraps.

Just slightly off topic, I always found that by connecting the sullage hose to the sink outlet under the van that the sink would take a looooong time to drain.

I solved this by putting a fitting on the bottom of my bucket to which the sullage hose fits.

The bucket its then placed under the drain into which the sink rapidly drains, then the water takes whatever time it likes to travel to the sullage point (van park) or to a handy tree.

Cheers Neil

Neil,

Do you have a plug for the bucket fitting if you don't want to use the hose but bucket only for short stops etc? confuse

No plugs Vic, although that would be a simple thing to do.  I always have a couple buckets on board so use an 'entire' one for short stops.

BTW, I like your new tug in your avatar!  Did you have problems getting a towbar extension to get down to the van?????  wink

Thanks Neil......you've heard of underslung axles, well I don't tow mine, I just have a hoist system underneath and carry it underside wink

Have to be careful in caravan parks though, the tug does have a tendency to want to drive over things smile biggrin
