Have just discovered the world of podcasting, thousands of topics to choose from, download for free. Great for when out of radio coverage. Anybody else using?
yep i love me podcasts, actually been in a few myself for those not in the know , a podcast is like say with a radio station and they have a tech show, they can record that while its on the air, then they upload it as an mp3 to say itunes for example and you download it and can listen to that any time you want.. and if you subscribe to a podcast it updates when ever a new one is out.. there heaps out there, you can play them on just about anything thats mp3 compatable etc hope that was easy... milo
Wow, I'm so old fashioned! I still use cassettes in my car/tug. I tape off my favourite CD's and sing my way around the country between gigs with Sing Australia.

A podcast is a digital audio or video file that is episodic; downloadable; programme-driven, mainly with a host and/or theme; and convenient, usually via an automated feed with computer software.[
I have just discovered podcasts too. Free is even better. Get onto itunes and find old time radio which has dragnet, perry mason, etc. some are really corny but some are quite good. It's like before tv came along and one sat around the radio listening to stories. Also if you get onto the BBC radio 4, which is also on itunes, they have all sorts of topics. My favourite is history and last night I listened to Robert the Bruce. There are great topics. I love my ipod.
