To those who disaproved of me showing just whay can happen in a flash, throught no fault of ypu own.
This was the reason for the post, just to remind all of what can happen .
These people are like family to us, I was not just showing some one's else's misfortune.
No , I was not at the scene, this happened in Tassie as stated, I'm in QLD.
These pics were taken by the owners of the ford, who is a life time friend of ours.
There is no speculation as to what happened, there were wittnesses who also saw her driving manner just before the crash.
This person is a high ranked Lions Club member & I would think by now many other members will be veiwing these pics along with the rest of what was sent to me.
As explained I had trouble adding text to the pics, therefore the second post, not hard to put 2 & 2 together.
The vehicle will be a total lose, & not easily replaced.
This excersice was a reality check & nothing else.

Those of us who took the time to ACTUALLY read your post JC knew what you were about.
I for one thank you for bringing to our attention just how quick things can happen and it doesn't make a scrap of difference if YOU are doing the right thing whilst driving there is always someone who isn't.
Justcruisin I don't beleive you should have explain your action , A close friend and wife sent you a photo of their mishap you and you pointing out how easy your life can be turned upside down , a bit of support would have been helpful for you at this time sorry I was away when you needed support .
Can't understand why anyone would be 'offended' by your initial post JC, nor should you have to justify why you posted it. Some people are just too precious for their own good. Jan
Hey JC, Just looked at your post and read the comments, bad luck about your friends vehicle but at least it can be replaced, lives can't. Glad they are ok and i agree with everone else, you don't have to explain why you posted those photo's, should be more of them, might wake some drivers to the fact that they are driving a lethal weapon. cheer's mate, ROb.

Sometimes we need to be reminded there are dangers out there we might not be thinking about, we get a bit lax etc. Good to have a wake up call now and again.

Gidday jc, APOLOGISE FOR WHAT ???? I for one thank you for the posting we all need to be constantly reminded it can happen to Anyone, At Anytime !! I for one have been paying that little extra attention to the vehicles around me since i seen the photo's, however i also know that i will soon forget, and become more complacent and so will we all, all we can hope for is that it does not happen to us, and if it does we only end up with bent and broken vehicles Not bent and broken bodies, so build a bridge !! and invite the 2 or 3 who complained to take a walk over it !!! they will find the people on the other side are much nicer. Now lets all get on with the forum ok Rgs dazren
JC can't understand why anyone would object to your post all you was doing was trying to remind us to be careful on the road and what harm is there in that good on you I say and has been said apologise for what. Helena.
I'm Not offended just better informed of what can happen. Those that are offended must be offended everytime they turn on the TV News and that's shown for profit not public education
