Loffty beat me to it, now you know where it is, it's a beautiful place amoung the vinyards and wineries my ancesters are buried in the old church yards around there hense the reason for going, need some new photoes of head stones its been 12 years since we were there last so am expecting many changes

Hey HW - hope you are on the road - we have rain up here in SE Qld today - but it usually only lasts a day or so here - and it is warm - t shirts - especially for us "southerners" - umbrella is about all you need - it soon dries up too. Happy travels - If you are goin to be stopping round Coonabarabran make sure you go to the Crystal Kingdom shop - fossils, rocks - lots of info about the local mountains, also take a trip up to Siding Springs observatory, well worth a look, you can camp in the Warrumbungles NP - there are a couple of spots with power, but there are showers and toilets there - Camp Blackman - lovely sot. The Big Sky CP at Narrabri is a really good spot to stop - guy who runs it is really nice, walking distance into town -enjoy your journey - see ya soon
