GOOD CAMPS'

Here's a couple of good camp areas worth a visit.

Camps 6;

QLD, 341 Jericho Community park.  donation box.

QLD 346 Lloyd Jones Weir.  donation box .

QLD 457 Wuruma Dam.   Free.

We stayed at these on the way up & all good.

I stayed at St Lawrence in July Boroma, and was happy with it, other than the rain.

The Polocross was supposed to be on, so it was pretty packed, but I was really looking forward to watching it. But it rained so hard the night before, they had to cancel it.

The amenities block is really spacious, but I can't say if it's normally nice and clean, because it was pretty grotty with so many people and so much mud.

We have just spent 4 days at the free camp out side Longreach. Very busy, good toilets but water and dump point at the showgrounds
Two days at Isisford. What a great spot. $2 a day and it has a shower behind the council office and very good water.
We didnt stop at the Blackall camp but it looks good also
