If you haven't made any plans for next Easter you could consider coming to Ulladulla for the Blessing of the Fleet. Plenty to do, stalls, rides, parade, entertainment and heaps of other stuff. It's always on Easter Sunday.
Here are a few of the pics I took today. I wasn't in the best sport for viewing, but I think you will get the general idea. There were 28 floats, 6 pipe and drum bands, emergency services and of course the parade was lead by St. Peter.
It's great to see the efforts communities make to present the town at its best on these occasions. Next weekend in the Vintage Festival parade at Tanunda and Nuriootpa in the Barossa Valley. The festival started this weekend, but the parade is next Saturday. If I'm not working I plan to be there sitting on my Aunty's front door as the parade passes her house. Festivals, festivals, festivals. This country is full of them. Up in Cairns there's a festival of some kind or another at least once a month. It's exciting.
