Welcome to the forum Trouto.  Now we are not the latest to join as we became members several days ago.

The people here are really helpful and already have answered a number of questions that we had.

Hopefully our paths might cross someday on the road.  -  Enjoy!!

Gday...

Welcome to the forum ......... a good place to visit regularly.

My in-laws ALWAYS stay at the Burrumbeet Van park on their way from Gippsland to the Central Victorian goldfields - been doing it for years .... they are gold fossicker/prospectors and go up there at least 3 or 4 times a year.

Cheers and happy travelling
John

Welcome Trouto

Unfortunately the caravan park at Lake Burrumbeet no longer exists, the amenties block has been knocked down (was in a severe case of disrepair due to vandals) and the site is overgrown. Good news though, both Lake Burrumbeet and Lake Learmonth are both either full or at least near to. the ski club is at Lake Burrumbeet is up and running, people have been skiing etc for a few months now.

Cheers

Sandra

There is another park near the racecourse, they may stay there although we think that it is mostly permanents. there is also a Big 4 just out of Ballarat and not far from Lake Burrumbeet, could be either one of these. I did forget about the one near the racecourse.
