Well after months of searching we have finally put down a deposit on a 100 series diesel land cruiser. Boy they're hard to find. 2 batteries, driving lights, snorkel, bull bar, electric brakes, 3 rhino roof racks. A little bit older than we originally wanted but then we can live with that. Managed to settle only minutes before 3 other keen purchasers swooped. One even offered them more money but thankfully we scored a sales man with principals and his comment was ' I'm not going there.' Pick it up on Thursday. Will have to change our Avatar.
Good luck with your new "toy" pricey - make sure you get the pics up quick - you know what they're like - "where's the pics, where's the pics"!!!! LOL!!!!

Well done pricey, now you can even back track to where you have been, and go to parts that the Territory could'nt go. and now you can pull other people out of sandtraps ??
Good luck to you and many happy travels And the photo's are coming WHEN??? dazren.
They really great vehicles and will tow big loads.Unless you have the Sahara model, they are the usual solid reliable Toyota, and are as good as the day is long.Parts are easy to get , they are reasonable to fix, what more do you want from a car?
Good for you! Once they get one they don't like to part with them. I scored my 80 Series when the lady traded it on for a Corolla after towing around Oz. Same truck, different driver. Mine has done 320,000 KMS now and going strong. If you look after it and keep it well maintained you should have many kilometres of happy travels. You've scored one all set up which is a bargain. It's the best tug for the job.

Good on you. We sold our 100 series Sahara in January and bought a 200 series GXL. I was really sorry to see the Sahara go but we are over the moon with the 200 - just needed the extra grunt as we now have a heavier van.
