Nutcases who said the world would end, I was sitting here looking forward to it with my camera in hand ready to take some shots of it for the next days newspaper, and boy was I let down, nothing bloody happened, can anybody tell me if the date was changed?

Yeah Wombat, the guy(nutcase?) admitted he made a mistake. Its now going to happen in October.

I thought it was 3 nights ago when I was parked in the Narrabri showgrounds when the sky opened, the most torrential rain and continuos thunder and lightening that was really frightening. I did think "I wonder if this is it", then I tried to sleep.

Got home a couple of hours ago wombat.. Made a run for it from Wyalong just over 400 ks but not willing to stay another night on the ride after freezing my .......s off last night.
Did stop in every town to give Myrtle a rest, an hour each in a couple and half an hour in the other.
